Dyness STACK100 BDU — Battery Distribution Unit
The Dyness STACK100 BDU (Battery Distribution Unit) is the central management and distribution hub for the Dyness STACK100 modular battery system. It connects and coordinates multiple STACK100 5.1kWh battery modules in a parallel configuration — maintaining a stable 51.2V LV nominal voltage regardless of system size — while handling system protection, state-of-charge balancing, and inverter communication from a single centralised control point.
The STACK100 BDU is a required component of every STACK100 system and must be paired with one or more STACK100 5.1kWh battery modules to form a complete, operational energy storage solution. It does not store energy on its own.
Centralised System Control & Protection
- Function: Acts as the single control and communication point between all connected STACK100 battery modules and your hybrid inverter. Manages system-level protection, state-of-charge balancing, fault detection, and module coordination across the entire STACK100 installation.
100A Continuous / 125A Peak Output
- Current Rating: Rated at 100A continuous output with a 125A peak discharge capacity sustained for up to 2 minutes — capable of handling high-power demand events without interruption.
Parallel Module Architecture (LV 51.2V)
- Configuration: Coordinates STACK100 modules in a parallel architecture, maintaining a stable 51.2V LV nominal voltage regardless of how many modules are connected. Designed to scale seamlessly alongside the full STACK100 system, up to the 60kWh configuration.
Compact Wall-Mount Enclosure
- Physical: Compact 590×133.5×390mm form factor at just 13kg — designed to mount alongside STACK100 battery modules in a space-efficient, stacked installation layout.
Multi-Certification Safety
- Certifications: Carries CE, UN38.3, IEC 62619, IEC 62477, and IEC 62040 certifications — meeting international safety and performance standards for battery management and distribution systems.
Wide Inverter Compatibility
- Compatibility: Designed for integration with hybrid inverters compatible with the Dyness STACK100 system. Always confirm inverter and full system compatibility with your installer before purchase and installation.
